Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly is an Asian handicap?
Asian handicap is a betting style that wipes out the draw by handing one team a goal head start or deficit. Born in the Asian markets, it delivers tighter, more balanced odds and can hand back your stake (a push) on certain results.
How does a quarter handicap work?
Quarter handicaps (0.25, 0.75, 1.25, and so on) split your stake evenly across two neighbouring lines. Take -0.75: half rides on -0.5 and half on -1.0. That setup can land you a half-win or a half-loss.
What goes down on a push?
A push lands on whole-number handicaps when the adjusted score finishes dead level — and your full stake comes straight back. On quarter handicaps, one half can push while the other wins or loses, leaving you with a partial return.
How do I read the handicap lines?
A minus handicap (say -1.5) means the team has to win by more than that margin. A plus handicap (say +1.5) means the team can drop the game by less than that margin and still cash. A zero handicap (0) is ‘Draw No Bet’ — a draw simply refunds your stake.
